Conference for legal experts
29 June 2006A range of legal experts will be meeting in the city of Ljubljan in Slovenia in late June to investigate several legal and regulatory briefs in reference to online gaming.
The meeting will take place at the Grand Union Hotel, where the International Masters of Gaming Law conference will be hosted. The IMGL will be attracting industry professionals in the range of fields from gaming lawyers, operators, suppliers, educators and other gaming industry associates. Those attending will be aware of the importance of understanding the legalities of internet gambling and how and through which direction international jurisdictions may impact on legislation.
The meetings will concentrate mostly on developments in the gaming industry throughout Europe. Additionally, it will focus on Eastern Europe. This comes as a result of the IMGL’s continued commitment to publicly educate about gaming law issues.
Those taking part in the conference have been encouraged to register and talk about their own experiences, information and insights. The emphasis of the conference will be placed on professional, focused and pertinent discussions of the gaming laws.
The conference was organized by the River City Group. It will provide a fountain of information, debates and collegiality. Non-members and members are welcome to attend. More information can be found on the group’s website.
