Roger Withers- non-exec director of Games Media
29 June 2006Roger Withers wears several hats. Not only is he the non-executive director at Fire One (a payment processing provider), but he is also the Chairman of Playtech. Roger has now added another position to his growing portfolio. He recently joined the group at Games Media. His role there will be the company’s non-executive director.
Roy Howell from Games Media commented on his delight that Roger agreed to become apart of the company’s team.
Over the last year, Games Media has successfully been expanding its resources and sales. Since they shifted to digital games and entertainment, the company has been gathering momentum quicker than expected. Roger’s input will help fuel export revenue streams.
According to Withers, the new position is very dynamic and vibrant. The company is forward thinking. For these reasons, he stated, that he was pleased to be joining at their current stage of development.
Games Media is an umbrella organization. With in the company, there is a group of companies with various expertise in, developing and publishing audience- appealing pay-to-play gaming and entertainment content. Several of the companies falling under this umbrella are Channel 1 Games, Game Multi Media, Global Games, and Voodoo Games.
Games Media was founded and established by Roy Howell and Andrew Ludlow over three years ago. Its business centers are now located in Britain.
